Dream Bands
If you could make up a band today from all the musicians that ever lived. Who would your ideal line up be?

Drums - Keith Moon
Rhythm Guitar - James Hetfield
Bass - Lemmy
Lead Guitar - Slash
Vocals - Jim Morrison

Not sure how hat would work or even if they would ever get a track done!!

Clasic Bonzos, Probably the only band to get a corny old gag into a pop song:

Have you got a light, Mac?
No, but I've got a dark brown overcoat.

RIP Mad Viv.

The band would last one week until Baker got up everyone's else's nose, Morrison threatened to quit and the Ox got his mate Daltrey to smash the shit out of Baker.

Keef would probably have been stoned and missed the whole thing and Green would have given the record company advance away to the homeless and threatened to kill their manager if he tried to pay him.

Re: Dream Bands
Having had my musical awakening in the era of blur and oasis I think John Squire would make my band.

I found a CD the other day while having a clear out. It was 'Do it yourself' by the Seahorses. I'd been bought it as a present in 1997 and never played it once. What the fuck was I thinking. A cracking album, can't stop playing it at the moment. Squires prints are all over it.

"Weirdly, I think a band made up of loads of people really good at their individual crafts, but from vastly differing genres would probably be quite shit in reality."

I agree, therefore mine would be:-

Geddy Lee - Bass, vocals and keys
Alex Lifeson - All Guitars
Neil Peart - Drums

We've probably seen the last of them.... :(

Not sure about any other band member, but mine would HAVE to have Freddie on vocals.
